The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, whether she plans to make (a) regulatory and (b) deregulatory changes to building regulations.

We will keep the Building Regulations under review to ensure that they are supporting our ambition of delivering high quality, safe and sustainable buildings whilst also enabling the construction sector to innovate and deliver the additional homes that we need.
