The question

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether it is her policy to end the temporary duty easement for wines between 11.5% and 14.5% alcohol by volume on small and medium-sized wine businesses.

The Chancellor and I receive representations regularly from a wide range of stakeholders and welcome their views. The current temporary duty easement for wine is due to end on 1st February 2025.
