To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, what the (a) headcount and (b) budget is of the 10 Downing Street data science team.

There were 21 FTE staff in post as of 31 July 2024, with a standing headcount of 25. The budget for the 2024/25 year is £2.347m. This budget covers headcount, with funding for incidental expenditures coming from a flexible central pot.
