Child Trust Fund

Asked by Andrew LewinLabourTreasuryTabled Answered 29 October 2024UIN 10392

The question

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what estimate she has made of the number of Child Trust Fund accounts (a) accessed and (b) claimed in (i) England and (ii) the East of England since 1 September 2020.

Answered by James Murray

Information on Child Trust Funds is available in HMRC’s Annual Savings Statistics.

HMRC does not hold information on the geographical locations of Child Trust Fund account holders, therefore the requested regional breakdowns cannot be provided.
