High Rise Flats: Insulation
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what steps her Department is taking to ensure that developer self-declarations under clause 5.4(i) or 5.4(ii) of the developer remediation contract have been agreed by (a) building owners (b) leaseholders and residents.
Answered by Alex Norris
Where appropriate, a developer may declare that there is no information or other reasons to believe that a building requires works. Information provided by the developer is considered by the Ministry, which may in turn discuss with the developer any concerns it may have about the declaration.
