Bus Services: Finance

Asked by Dan TomlinsonLabourDepartment for TransportTabled Answered 15 November 2024UIN 13041

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, whether her Department is providing funding to ensure the future viability of the 84B bus route.

Answered by Simon Lightwood

Transport in London is devolved and decisions around bus services are for the Mayor of London and TfL. The Government regularly engages with TfL to understand their funding needs and will continue to do so as part of the Spending Review process.
