The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology, whether Slack is permitted as an (a) corporate and (b) non-corporate communication channel in Government.

There is no specific policy on use of Slack across Government.

Slack is used by Digital, Data and Technology Professionals in Departments for cross Government communication.

The Central Digital and Data Office have set out the Technology Code of Practice
