The question

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if the Government will make an assessment of the potential merits of establishing a Department for Borders and Deportation.

The Home Office is the department for border security, including overseeing the establishment of Border Security Command and delivering more than 16,400 deportations of people who have no right to be here since July 2024.
