To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what discussions he is having with the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government on improving the coordination of (a) the Local Government Finance Settlement and (b) Public Health Grant allocations.

Answered by Ashley Dalton

Following the upcoming Spending Review, we will aim to issue multi-year public health allocations to local authorities from 2026/27, to support local planning.

The Department of Health and Social Care will continue to work with the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government to improve coordination of allocations.
