The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, if she will take steps to open additional railway stations in Devon.

Answered by Lilian Greenwood

The Government is funding the construction of a new Okehampton Interchange station which is planned to open in 2026. Future rail infrastructure investment, including new stations, will be considered as part of the current Spending Review, which will be concluded in June 2025.
