Asked by Ben Obese-JectyConservativeHome OfficeTabled Answered 26 February 2025UIN 32380

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether Cambridgeshire Constabulary will be awarded the South East Allowance, in the context of that arrangement for Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire constabularies.

Answered by Dame Diana Johnson

The independent Police Remuneration Review Body (PRRB) and Senior Salaries Review Body (PRRB) make recommendations to the Government on the appropriate level of pay and allowances for police officers.

This Government will give very careful consideration to any recommendations regarding the South East Allowance.
