The question

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, whether Ministers can consider applications to the Advisory Committee on Business Appointments which have not been considered when making Government appointments.

All government appointees, whether regulated or unregulated, are subject to due processes to manage outside interests, which may include external employment.
