Treasury: Festivals and Special Occasions
The question
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what (a) religious and (b) cultural holidays are observed by their Department.
Answered by James Murray
HM Treasury does not observe religious or cultural holidays. Staff have time off for bank holidays, some of which fall on religious holidays, as part of their leave allowance.
