The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what recent estimate she has made of the number of second homes in each local billing authority in England.

The government annually publishes data on council taxbases, including the number of dwellings assessed as second homes for council tax purposes in England. The most recent data, taken from a snapshot in October 2024, is available here.
