Public Houses: Change of Use
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, whether she plans to review planning regulations on the conversion of public houses to other uses.
Answered by Matthew Pennycook
Planning permission is always required for the material change of use of a public house to another use, and the government has no plans to change this.
