The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what steps the Government is taking to support the freedom to pray.

Freedom of religion or belief is a fundamental human right, and one which underpins many of the others.  Any individual or group is free to express and practice religion, views and beliefs, but they have a duty to behave responsibly and to respect other people’s rights.
