The department provides tools, guidance and support to help schools manage their spending:

• The Sustainability Support for Education website, which guides users to design a climate action plan and provides signposting to resources which are customised to a school’s context. This is accessible at: https://www.sustainabilitysupportforeducation.org.uk/.
• The Climate Ambassadors Programme, which sees volunteers from industry and civil society work directly with schools to turn climate ambition into action.
