To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, what is the estimated (a) mean and (b) median salary of a civil servant in (i) 2024-25 and (ii) 2025-26, and what is the estimated monetary value of the employer contribution to their Civil Service pensions.

The latest data published as at 31st March 2025 can be found at https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/civil-service-statistics-2025. Data is not yet available for 2025-26.
The estimated employer contribution for a Civil Servant to the Civil Service Pension Scheme is £6.6bn for 2024-25. The estimated employer contributions for 2025-26 is not currently known.
