To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to page 55 of the Strategic Defence Review, published on 2 June 2025, when he expects the Defence Research and Evaluation organisation to be fully established.

This evolution of the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory is in the initial stages of planning and therefore requires substantial design work. The outcome of this, and subsequent details within, will be announced in due course.
