Asked by Matt VickersConservativeHome OfficeTabled Answered 8 September 2025UIN 71303

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what recent estimate she has made of the number of knife crime incidents in the Tees Valley.

Answered by Sarah Jones

The Home Office collects information on the number of offences involving a knife or sharp instrument recorded by the police in England and Wales at the Police Force Area level only.

The latest published information for Cleveland Police, published by the Office for National Statistics, can be found in Table P5 here: Crime in England and Wales: Police Force Area data tables - Office for National Statistics
