The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what steps he is taking to increase the pan space at RAF Akrotiri in order to accommodate the increase in air assets held at the base.

There are currently no plans to expand the available ‘pan space’ at RAF Akrotiri. The Ministry of Defence is well set to expand at RAF Akrotiri should the need arise.
