Asked by David ChadwickLiberal DemocratDepartment for Science, Innovation and TechnologyTabled Answered 8 September 2025UIN 73396

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology, what assessment he has made of the fees charged for (a) lowering, (b) relocating and (c) diverting the network by Openreach.

Answered by Ian Murray

As the independent regulator for communications services, Ofcom regulates Openreach’s charges to ensure fair competition, so the government has not made any such specific assessment.
