The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what information her Department holds on (a) the number of and (b) which local authorities had Local Development Orders in force on 1 September 2025.

Answered by Matthew Pennycook

The government does not actively monitor the uptake of Local Development Orders. However, local planning authorities are required to keep a record of Local Development Orders made in their area.
