The question

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, with reference to the British Nationality (Irish Citizens) Act 2024, whether citizens who naturalised prior to 22 July 2025 will be included in the new registration route.

Those who have already become a British citizen through naturalisation are not able to apply for British citizenship as they already hold that status.
