To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, whether her Department has considered introducing method of production labelling for pork products to help consumers that are seeking to avoid products from farrowing crates.

We will consider the potential role of method of production labelling reform as part of the ongoing development of the government’s wider animal welfare strategy.
