To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what assessment she has made of the adequacy of safeguards to the right to peaceful protest.

Public order legislation has been developed in line with the UK’s human rights obligations, including those under the European Convention on Human Rights.

The Home Secretary announced on 5 October that she has asked for review of public order legislation.
