The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what guidance his Department provided to local authorities on parental eligibility for Neonatal Care Pay and Leave.

Local authorities are independent employers responsible for the management of their own workforces and compliance with all relevant employment legislation. The Department has not provided guidance to local authorities.
