The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, what steps her Department is taking to support local visitor economies.

The Government is supporting the visitor economy through partnerships with VisitBritain and VisitEngland to promote Britain globally and drive local growth.

The new Visitor Economy Advisory Council brings together industry leaders, regional voices, and experts to help shape a growth plan aimed at welcoming 50 million inbound visitors annually by 2030.
