The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, whether he plans to introduce (a) financial incentives and (b) stamp duty reliefs for older homeowners wishing to move to more suitable housing.

The government is committed to enhancing provision and choice for older people in the housing market and we will continue to consider this issue as we develop our long-term housing strategy.
