The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps his Department is taking to support people with early stages of Type 1 Diabetes.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is developing guidance on the use of Teplizumab for delaying the onset of stage 3 type 1 diabetes in people eight years and over with stage 2 type 1 diabetes.
