To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what steps the Government has taken to ensure transparency and propriety in negotiating any financial settlement for Lord Mandelson following the withdrawal of his ambassador

The Department does not publish details of individuals' cases. Lord Mandelson's withdrawal was subject to normal HR processes.
