The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what recent assessment he has made of the effectiveness of the NHS cost-recovery regime in ensuring that the public purse is fully compensated for care provided to overseas visitors.

No formal assessment has been made. However, we continue to work with NHS England to ensure that the system works as effectively and fairly as possible.
