To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what assessment he has made of the potential impact of allocating newly built council housing to asylum seekers on the availability of social housing for local residents on waiti

Newly built social rented homes are not being allocated to asylum seekers. Asylum seekers are not eligible for social housing.
