The Royal Navy contribution to global submarine rescue is world leading. As one of three partner nations, alongside France and Norway, the Royal Navy makes a significant contribution to the NATO Submarine Rescue System (NSRS) Operations Group, contributing specialist expertise in submarine operations, rescue, engineering and medical support to ensure the system remains capable of responding rapidly to a submarine emergency worldwide.
