To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, if she will make an assessment of the potential impact of the installation of immobilisation cages for pigs on her Department's consultation entitled Animal Health and Welfare Pathway:

The consultation titled Animal Health and Welfare Pathway: mandatory proposals does not include any requirements related to immobilisation cages for pigs, so the Department has no plans to make an assessment of the potential impact.
