The question

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, whether Ministers can have Ministerial responsibilities removed and remain in post.

As per paragraph 7.1 of the Ministerial Code, the Prime Minister is responsible for the overall organisation of the executive and the allocation of functions between ministers in charge of departments.
