The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, whether she has made a recent assessment of the risks associated with the use of paraquat.

Answered by Emma Hardy

It has been illegal to sell or use paraquat since 2007. As paraquat has been off the UK market for a number of years, HSE has not carried out a recent risk assessment.
