To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment he has made of the potential impact of administrative issues within the NHS on patients.

No assessment has been made, but as set out in the Elective Reform Plan, we are committed to improving communication between patients, clinicians and hospital, including through the NHS App, as we shift from analogue to digital. This will make it quicker and easier for patients to access the information they need, and improve their experience of waiting for and receiving care.
