Men: Conferences

Asked by Mr Calvin BaileyLabourMinistry of JusticeTabled Answered 22 May 2026UIN 1470

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, on what date the Men and Boys Summit will take place.

Answered by Jake Richards

As part of the Violence Against Women & Girls Strategy published in December 2025, the Prime Minister committed to holding a National Summit on Men and Boys in 2026 to bring together key sector partners and Government, to raise awareness and develop plans to tackle issues facing Men and Boys. He asked the Deputy Prime Minister to lead this work.

By convening Departments and partners under the Deputy Prime Minister’s leadership, we can therefore ensure a joined-up approach that delivers meaningful, measurable impact.

The Deputy Prime Minister is intending to hold a series of public facing events over the coming weeks and months, including regional roundtables with the men and boys’ sector and advocates, and topic-specific workshops with stakeholders – as well as the National Summit later in 2026.

A date for the Men and Boys Summit has not yet been agreed but is likely to take place in late Autumn.
