Hospitals: Heliports

Asked by Ben Obese-JectyConservativeDepartment of Health and Social CareTabled Answered 1 June 2026UIN 2208

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how many and what proportion of hospital helipads cannot be used at night.

Answered by Karin Smyth

Neither NHS England nor the Department hold data centrally on the operational hours of hospital helipads. Hours of operation are typically determined locally and may be subject to planning restrictions, including those relating to noise.
