Crown Lands and Estates: Bricks
The question
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what discussions she has had with the Crown Estate on the potential merits of using British-made bricks for the maintenance and renovation of the Crown Estate.
Answered by Lucy Rigby
The Crown Estate is an independent commercial business, established by an Act of Parliament, and the Government is not involved in its day-to-day operational decision-making. Decisions on the materials used in the maintenance and renovation of The Crown Estate’s portfolio are operational matters for The Crown Estate.
