The question

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, with reference to the Answer of 15 April 2026 to Question 125413 on UK Trade with EU: Dispute Resolution, whether the panellists are direct ministerial appointments; and if he will list their names.

The individuals have been appointed by both the UK Government and European Union under obligations set out in the Trade and Co-operation Agreement, and in accordance with the standards set out in Article 409 of that treaty. The list of agreed individuals is as follows:

(a) sub-list of individuals established on the basis of proposals by the European Union;
