To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, how much Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust spent on agency staff in each of the last three financial years.

The figures for the last three financial years for which figures are available are as follows:
£47.9 million in 2022/23;
£34.7 million in 2023/24; and
£16.9 million in 2024/25.
The figures for the last financial year, 2025/2026, have not been finalised therefore the trust is unable to share them.
