Asked by Euan StainbankLabourDepartment of Health and Social CareTabled Answered 1 June 2026UIN 3904

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what discussions he has had with the devolved administrations on improving access to thrombectomy services.

Answered by Preet Kaur Gill

The Government continues to engage regularly with the devolved administrations on shared health priorities.

However, health, including thrombectomy services, is a devolved matter and responsibility for the organisation and delivery of health services rests with the devolved administrations in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
