To ask the Secretary of State for Education, pursuant to the answer of 19 May 2026 to question 747 on Special Educational Needs: Huntingdon, what is the full remit of assistance provided by Experts at Hand in Cambridgeshire.

Local area partnerships will be asked to develop a new Experts at Hand offer over the next three years so that more specialist expertise can be accessed by mainstream settings to support all children and young people to achieve and thrive.
Local areas will define the exact offer in line with clear national expectations, which were set out in guidance published 5 June 2026 available here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/supporting-send-reform-developing-the-experts-at-hand-offer/developing-and-delivering-the-experts-at-hand-offer-in-year-1-supporting-guidance.
Local authorities should ensure that the Experts at Hand investment benefits children and young people aged 0 to 25. Local areas should also consider how they will develop this offer over time to ensure appropriate provision and support is available across early years, primary, secondary, and further education settings.
