The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how many public electric vehicle chargepoints have been installed in each local authority area in England; and what assessment she has made of trends in the level of regional difference in access to charging infrastructure.

The Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Fund allocated funding to all higher tier local authorities in England. Alongside substantial private funding, it is expected to deliver over 100,000 further chargepoints close to where people live across the country.
