Offshore Industry: North Sea
The question
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether she has received representations from North Sea operators regarding the offer to invest £17.5 billion in new domestic oil and gas projects in exchange for early implementation of the Oil and Gas Price Mechan
Answered by Dan Tomlinson
Ministers regularly meet with different stakeholders, to discuss a range of policy issues, including oil and gas companies. The Government recognises domestic oil and gas will continue to have a role in the energy mix for decades to come.
