The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, what steps his Department is taking to undertake further trade negotiations with the US under the General Terms of the Economic Prosperity Deal.

Through negotiations on the Economic Prosperity Deal, the UK is the only country to have achieved a 10% tariff for autos within quota and a 0% tariff for pharmaceuticals. Furthermore, in April, President Trump announced the removal of tariffs on UK whisky, which is worth around £1bn in exports.
