Growth Mission Board
The question
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, with reference to the Answer of 21 April 2026 to Question 112661 on Growth Mission Board, how many times the Kickstarting Economic Growth Mission Board has met since the Mission Boards were de-designated as Cabinet Committees by the Cabinet Office.
Answered by Rachel Blake
The Growth and Living Standards Committee has replaced the Growth Mission Board. It is a long-established precedent that information about the discussions that have taken place in Cabinet and its committees - including mission boards - including their attendance, and how often they have met, is not normally shared publicly.
Work to deliver the Growth Mission continues at pace through a range of cross-Government ministerial and official-level fora, including ministerial discussions chaired by the Chancellor. These discussions focus on agreeing ambitious reforms that drive growth, alongside continuous review and action to sustain and accelerate delivery.
A list of current Cabinet Committees, including the Growth and Living Standards Committee can be found here.
