The question

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, pursuant to the Answer of 19 May 2026 to Question 122 on Government Departments: marketing, whether the guidance on branded merchandise issued on 6 April 2025 applies to arm’s length bodies.

The Government Chief Commercial Officer wrote to departments to request they implement measures to restrict the purchase or procurement of branded merchandise. Departments were also asked to apply these standards where relevant and possible to their arm's length bodies.
